June 2017: Ordering of Stage 1 equipment from Ultima in the UK

December 2017: Building of Dolly required for the Chassis

February 2018: Ordering of Chevy LS3 525HP engine

March 2018: Receiving and uncrating of LS3 engine. Ordering of Rasebrry Pi 3 and Adruino boards for custom gauge cluster, wireless steering wheel and vehicle controls.

April 2018: Shipment of Ultima Chassis and other parts for Stage 1 build

May 2018: Hours 0-140. Shipment received and build started. Fitting Aluminium cockpit panels. Carbon Skinning cockpit panels. Fitting radiator. Fitting wishbones, uprights and dampers. Fitting brakes and steering rack.

June 2018: Most of the panelling and carbon work is complete. Radiator pipes, brake lines and wiring harness being fitted. Handbrake cables and gearbox cables fastened.

July 2018: 3-D design work for steering wheel controls, graphic design for gauges and programming micro controllers for gauges, controls and interfacing with the Chevy GMLAN CAN-bus

August 2018: Body Pre-fit. After the 2nd container was delivered with the body kit, work started doing the body pre-fit.

September – October 2018: Mounting the Engine for the 1st time.

November 2018 – March 2019: Custom racing wheel, climate control, brake cooling ducts and carbon dash.

April 2019 – August 2019: Interior, carbon panels, final fitment of body

September 2019 – December 2019: The push to get everything done in order to start the engine for the 1st time before 2020

January 2020 – March 2020: Working on small little things to get the car on the road finally. 

April 2020 – June 2020: Car is effectively complete except for adding a rear wing.
